You can recycle bicycles by donating them to a charity, local shop, or repair workshop. You can also recycle the metal parts of a bike at a recycling center. 

Donate to a charity

Recycling centers: Many recycling centers have a mixed metals recycling facility where you can recycle metal parts from your bike 

  • Scrap metal dealers: You can take your bike parts to a scrap metal dealer for recycling 

Donation centers

  • Local bike shops: You can donate your bike to a local bike shop for parts 

  • Thrift stores: You can donate your bike to a thrift store for parts 

  • Charities: You can donate your bike to a charity if it's in good condition
