Mitsubishi Chemical Circular Economy Challenge

The Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials Challenge invites innovators in the plastics circular economy to submit ideas in two categories: Recycling Technology and Products & Parts. Applicants should have developed technologies that enhance mechanical or chemical recycling of engineering plastics, or designed products using low-carbon footprint thermoplastic polymers with circular business models. Submissions must demonstrate feasibility, scalability, and sustainability, including quantifiable environmental impact. Selected winners will join a $25,000 pilot program and gain access to mentorship, technical support, and a broader innovation ecosystem. Ownership of intellectual property remains with the applicant.

Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF)

To be eligible for the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) must be selected by an ISEF-affiliated fair. Each student may submit only one project, based on no more than 12 months of research conducted after January 2025, and all materials must be in English. Team projects can include up to three original members, and entries must fall within one of ISEF’s 22 science and engineering categories. Projects must be original, action-based research—not demonstrations or literature reviews—and any use of AI must be properly cited.
