Young Arts

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or legally able to receive taxable income in the U.S., such as having a Social Security number. Additionally, those selected as award winners with distinction must be attending National YoungArts Week for the first time.

Bruce Fishkin Scholarship

Eligible applicants must reside in Chicago or surrounding counties in Illinois, Las Vegas and its suburbs, or select towns in Connecticut. They must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, an ACT score of at least 22 or SAT score of 1100, and plan to attend an accredited U.S. college for a four-year bachelor’s degree. Applications are accepted from September 1 to November 1, 2025, and scholarships—up to $50,000 per year for eight semesters—can be used toward tuition, room and board, books, and required supplies.

Eligible applicants must be legal residents of the 50 U.S. states or D.C. and either high school students accepted to, or undergraduate/trade/vocational students enrolled in, an accredited two- or four-year U.S. college or school—online or in-person—by September 1, 2026. Connect Her Film Fest

International competition for youth ages, inviting short films that address issues affecting women and girls. Films must be original, 3–6 minutes long, completed after January 1, 2025, and submitted in .mov or .mp4 format with English subtitles. All creative roles must be filled by eligible youth, though actors can be any age.

HEAR Scholarship

Open to high school seniors graduating in 2026 who attend school in the Chicagoland area, including parts of Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. Applicants must be U.S. citizens pursuing a bachelor’s degree, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and score at least 1110 on the SAT or 22 on the ACT. The scholarship is both need- and merit-based, requiring demonstrated financial need, strong character, a solid work ethic, and active involvement in community service, extracurriculars, sports, or employment.

Jack Kent Cooke College Scholarship Program

Eligible applicants must be high school seniors graduating in spring 2026 after completing four years at a U.S. school, territory, or military base, and plan to enroll in an accredited four-year college that fall. They must have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.75 and submit scores from the SAT, ACT, AP, or IB exams (no minimum score required). Applicants must also demonstrate financial need, with family income up to $95,000, and will undergo a full financial review considering all household income and assets.

APIA scholarships

Applicants who can apply are underserved Asian and Pacific Islander American students pursuing undergraduate education, with a focus on those from low-income backgrounds, first-generation college students, and underrepresented ethnicities within the APIA community. Applicants must be of APIA ethnicity as defined by the U.S. Census, be U.S. citizens, nationals, or legal residents (including citizens of the Marshall Islands, Micronesia, and Palau), and plan to enroll in an accredited U.S. college in the upcoming fall. A minimum GPA of 2.7 or a GED is required, along with a completed FAFSA and one letter of recommendation.

Chicago Engineering Foundation

The Chicago Engineers’ Foundation Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who reside in the city of Chicago and have been accepted into an ABET-accredited, four-year undergraduate engineering program. Awards start at $1,200 for incoming freshmen and increase to $1,600 for each subsequent year, with the potential for renewal through all four years of study, contingent on meeting annual eligibility requirements.
