To be eligible for NEEF grants, organizations must have been actively serving public lands for at least two years, regardless of when they received formal 501(c)(3) status. Groups operating under a fiscal agent can apply and must submit financial documents from that agent. Partnerships with both public and private entities are acceptable, as long as the land is publicly accessible, and applicants should provide a partnership letter from the agency most aligned with their mission.

Illinois EPA Environmental Education Grants

To be eligible for an environmental education grant, applicants must be a U.S.-based organization such as a local or state education/environmental agency, college or university, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, noncommercial educational broadcaster, or a recognized Tribal education agency. The majority of their educational activities must occur within the U.S., its territories, or in collaboration with Canada or Mexico.

GEM Fellowship Program

To be eligible for the GEM Fellowship, applicants must be seniors or graduates of accredited engineering or computer science programs with a minimum GPA of 2.8. They must agree to complete two summer internships with a sponsoring GEM Employer. Fellowship benefits include full tuition and fees at a GEM Member University and a stipend, with additional funding and internship opportunities for Employer Fellows.
